No Weekday Masses Jan 23-Feb 3. Weekday Mass is available at St. Anthony Church in White River Junction at 7:00 am.
Woodstock Community Food Shelf: The Woodstock Community Food Shelf is open. We here at Our Lady of the Snows will continue to support our local community food shelf as well as the Haven in White River Junction. Please be as generous as you can in helping those less fortunate. “Feed the Hungry” is one of the Corporal Works of Mercy. If you are interested in volunteering at the Woodstock Community Food Shelf, please contact Bev Regan.
Ministry to the Sick and Homebound: If you are aware of anyone in the parish who is homebound, in a hospital or nursing home who is in need of Sacramental ministry, please call the parish office, Father Mosher will make a call to bring the Eucharist and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick to whomever is in need. In addition, our parish Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist can bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound. Don’t hesitate to call; this ministry is important to our parish. Donate Your Vehicle: Two organizations in the area, "Bonnie Clac" and "Good News Garage" are accepting donations of automobiles to help people in need of transportation to get to work. You can still get a fair market tax deduction for your vehicle. Please call 603-443-9701 or 877-448-3288 for information. Windsor County Partners, mentors to local young people for 30 years, is looking for volunteers to help reduce the wait list of approved 11 to 17 year-olds who are in need of an adult friend. After screening and careful matching, the nonprofit agency provides training and assistance. The commitment, for the young person and the adult friend, is for a flexible three hours a week, for one year. Senior partners provide a relationship that inspires trust, self-esteem and social responsibility. Often the bonds created become lifetime friendships and Senior Partners say they are the big winners in the relationship. For more information, please call the Windsor County Partners office at 674-5101. DHMC Blood Donor Program: Just one unit of blood can save the lives of three people. Donation takes less than an hour of your time. The DHMC Blood Donor Program is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7:00 am-4:30 pm; Thursdays 7:00 am-6:00 pm; Fridays, 7:00 am-2:30 pm. Call 866-403-6667 or 603-653-3775 or email DHMC.Blood.Program@Hitchcock.org to schedule an appointment. Walk-in donors are also welcome.
